Hey guys, I'v been busy with my A15 stroker for ages now, And the Cylinder head is still not the way i want it. So i have decided i just need to get the wheels rolling with an old A12 Engine i have. How hard can one rev these subs? are they like the A14 and A15 8500 rpm stock ? I want to run it with a A15 head, ported and flowed with double springs , set of 40s and 300deg with 11mm lift camshaft. Oh and a set of 4 to 1 extractors. Will it go hard or not? this to the guys who have tried it, and is still doing it Maurice

Hey, yes the guys looking for big cc's go for the A15 crank setup that works exccellent with 78mm piston or even 79mm if u have the guts. Im decreasing my stroke by haveing have changed my crank to fit a mazda rod so my cc's will be less then tha A15 crank setup, but i'm looking for high rpm, i'm also going for the 78mm piston i should end up with a 1443 l engine. Just a test though

I also agree with 34mm to 36 mm, People always confuse 40mm side's with throttles, Carbs get choke sizes that decrease the barrel size. I used 34mm on my A14 with large port work on my cylinder head and race cam.
