There's nothing wrong with SA bakkies :P, over here their considered as legends in the work sector. And even as they are now discontinued they are still expensive :(

...like most cars in SA.

Hey 8500 rpm is quite alot on normal Sub assembly. Not impossible but a 276 will not be up to the task :P

Lamco cams..... thats a big no no, they are has beens. I bought a 276 cam there and it was a mess. Want a Good Cam go to cam shaft dynamics in Jhb. They charge R550 with a cam. And you can buy a decent secondhand cam from A1 bakkie spares in VaderHoff weg in PTA for R150.

okay so no smoke from my exause and alot from my breathers. so my carbs needs a good tuning and the smoke from the breathers isseu could be my timing ?. I think i will go and check my timing in the morning and give you guys an update. So i should retard it?

and the blow by is caused by worn out rings ? or is there an other reason ? I'm not really experienced with this.
