My starter keeps cranking the engine even with the key turned off. Do these cars have a starter relay? BTW, it's a 73 coupe. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know what seats would be an "easy" swap for a 1200? Any info is appreciated. I know someone mentioned late model t-bird seats, but I've been unable to locate any.

hi wildthing, just a note on your oil fouled plugs...it's gotta be either a bad oil ring on the piston, or bad valve stem oil seals. One way to check is to get that compression tester and do a dry reading on all cylinders and record the results. Then squirt some oil into each cylinder and take a second set of readings. If the readings are higher, ya need new rings. Either way, you'll probably have to rebuild the head or the bottom end. Hope this helps.

Yeah, especially when it comes to buying parts! I don't know about other places, but, in the US, the small block chevy is the cheapest engine in the world to get parts for. Still, the fords are not too bad in that aspect either.
