thank's dimlight, I must have a non-original diff in there because there is definately a cover on it...lol. guess I'll have to take a closer look at it. thanks anyway.

hey bro, I've seen this several times as a nissan tech,and it sure sounds like you have a bad rear u-joint.when you let off the throttle, this releases the torque on the drive line causing it to snap back.noises can be the most difficult to diagnose but I would start with the drive line.

Ok, I just found out that a dual carb manifold for my car cost about 600 bucks(ouch). my question is...is it worth it? what kind of power increase are we talking about? Any comment is appreciated.thanks
