The motor sounds like a good place to start ditch the turbo slap on some 48mm carbs and your racing.(well nearly anyway)..

Tom you could talk to Ian Caterer on facebook he uses an sr20 with carbs an a distributor and not a lot of money spent but a well sorted car.

Both motors are approved by CAMS to be used in IPRA racing.Some guys put webbers on them to save using expensive computers.And are old school guys like me. Most motors come in silia coupes or 180sx Nissans and there gearboxes are farely strong...Greg.

The guys over here use CA18 and SR20 motors in our upto 2000cc improved production class. Most fit into 1200s quite easily or the silvia which cams has ok'd to run in the class

Yes have repaired several
Knock the plug out of back of the shifter case and fit a new seal.should be still avaliable fron Nissan Reuse old plug.

Use your shaft and fit the toyota yoke to front of shaft
