Approx $700 plus your gearbox and tailshaft pressure plate and rear mount fabrication and a couple of seals not much change out of $1500.AUD

Dellow conversions in NSW 02 97743873 have every thing you need and will send you all the imfo and prices.
I have fitted 3 T50 Boxes to 3 different Dattos.
A 1000 with a 1500cc motor
A 1200 coupe with turbo.
And my 120y coupe with the 1322cc motor
The 120y was the easiest to do as the tunnel is quiet large.

You would need a roll cage and a CAMS licence and be a member of the Short Ciruit Motor Sport Assotiation and you would be good to go and join the fun.Or you could just run the sprints 3 to 4 laps at a time

I think it lines up with the oil hole in the crank to help feed oil to that side of the shell

The last part of your article is more likely to be the main reason as a lot of the heads were cast with H on them but not the GX heads

Sure do they are fairly rare.it's probably cheaper to fit the Toyota T50 so much stronger
