Try replacing your condensor on the side of the dizzy. This can do the same thing and gets to the point where the car bunny hops and misses and has no power what soever.
This happened to me yesterday on the way home from work, put a new condensor on it and she's good as new, no missing or nothing.

I had a similar problem on my 120y, and found out that the main wiring harness under the dash where it connects to the engine harness had a dirty corrorded pin, pulled the connector apart and cleaned the pin and problem was fixed.

You can still get them new through Nissan, as I work for them and have got some for my 120y gearbox.

Cheers, James.

Sedan, or coupe as they are both different sizes.

Check your main wiring harness connector under the dash by pulling it apart and cleaning the pins.
I had a similar thing happen to my 120y, so I pulled the connector apart and one of the pins had crap build up on it, so I scrapped it off with a screwdriver so it was clean, plugged it back together and it was fine.
Cheers, James.

Thanks mate.

Hi all, I'm just wondering how much would a 120y front bumper be worth in good straight condition?

Cheers, James.

I'm running an A15 motor in my 120y with 4 into 1 extractors which I got new through an exhaust shop and dont have any issues with fowling on anything. Not sure about the 1200 model though.
