i took my tappet cover off the other day to paint it and for some reason all under the cover and around the rockers a bit was all white goey oil ....as if water was getting in my engine .....but its using no water and the sump oil is fine.....so anyways i cleaned it up and put it bac on and gave it a good drive and after being stopped for a while i looked under the filler cap and there was water condensation?????
\anyone got any ideas why this could be or is this a common prob for "A" engines.....it just seems to be on the top of the tappet cover and cap and nowhere else

thanx for all your help

Please help

hey i just gotta new job where i have to travel 45 kms to and from work and most of it is in 100kmph zones and my 1980 ute is reving off its tits at 100kmph well a good 3500rpm to 4000rpm = annoying anyways i was told striaght up that i can get a bluebird diff ...(centre i think) and bolt it in place of my standard diff centre and it will change the ratios enough so that i can cruise at 100kmph at an easier rpm level
.....if so does anyone know what exact model etc it would be because i need it so bad i wont be able to stand anymore of this rpm

doesnt have to be bluebird just needs to be easy to get and easy for me to fit

thanks sooooooooooo much for any help i realy appreciate it

i heard on the grape vine that u can get a bluebird diff and just unbolt the 1200 and bolt the blue bird straight in .....apparetnly this will give better ratios especially when cruising on a highway at 100 it will bring the revs down ....whats the deal on cant find any info on the forums about a bluebird diff bolting straight on ???
whats the feeling around the place??

hey i looked everywhere through the forum and in the tech section but it was all mumbo jumbo ...... all i want to do is get some discs up the front of my car and get some extra stopping power....i heard that u can just get a 120y front end and bolt everything including the discs striaght up..is this an unboosted setup and do u use stock master cylinder or 120y
whats the easiest way to do all this

thanks heaps for ur help
