I use an a/f ratio guage on the side draft fed race engines.Any further info could(how to,where from etc.) be irrelevant as your location is not in your profile.

Yes,i too love the idea of the young ones getting a start(as i did 100 years ago)on the dirt or grass rather than being thrown to the wolves with all the other experts from day one. There are limited opportunities in australia, but Queensland do have some i know and have a bit to do with.Short Circuit Motor Sport Association promote juniors at both dirt and bitumen sprint level along with autocross/khana etc.So if there are any parents out there wondering how to? have a look at the association web site as above or shoot me a pm with a phone number an i'll give you a call.I believe it's a really cheap early insurance cover for the young ones to keep out of trouble on the roads and who knows where they might end up in the years ahead

Don't stress too much, you should be able to find a second hand box for about the cost of 1 synchro, the first place i would try is right here once we know what part of the world you are from, you will find everyone is quite helpfull and if someone has a box collecting dust they might just part with it.Cheers

Exactly my point Troy, the other day one of us responded to a person of un known place of residance on a mundane question that normally you would'nt bother, turns out he lives in the same suburb!!Result part supplied, problem solved in 20 minutes.Perhaps this should be a mandatory item.

Hey Nuts, for what you are doing Motorsport wise,i would be prone to leaving the front brakes alone. They are not that bad if in good condition,i would however sneak a brake bias cockpit unit in somewhere. That way you can control pressure to the rears. But they are illegal for road use i believe in most states,so if you go down that track be smart and think consoles

Anyone got a theory as to why so many new people on this site don't want anyone to know what part of the world they live in?
