Does anyone know who in aus. can or will or is capable of making an adaptor or bellhousing to go behind an a series block to a toyota box, other than dellow Cheers Bert
It will take you about 5 minutes to work out yourself.Step 1,put the car on the ground on its normal road wheels.Step 2 mark the top of the tyre on the sidewall. STEP3 Crawl under the car and mark the tailshaft anywhere you will be able to watch it from the ground.Step4 get a mate to push the car forward or backward one full revolution of the tyre till your referance mark is back at the top,whilst he is pushing you are counting the revolutions of the tailshaft using your mark on tail shaft as referance,I imagine it will be somewhere between 3.6-4.1. NOTE This system will not work if vehicle is off the ground unless the diff has been locked Cheers Bert
Hi all,im stuck for room in the shed and have decided to relieve myself(not happy)of two of my favorite things to make way for a new sports sedan project. Item 1 Datsun 1000 Coupe rolling chassis, can be supplied with motor & bearbox.Car needs a coat of paint and a windscreen(its cracked)The thing is not rusty and is complete. Item 2 Datsun 1200 ute,new front guards bonnet full rear quarters inner & outer sills tailgate rear beaver panel tray mini tubs etc.Mazda b2000 rear end(modified to nissan stud pattern)new 15 inch alloys and 50 series tyres.All the hard work has been done & all the rust is gone. The thing owes me $5000.00 in parts and material less what the car was worth.Offers around this will find the thing a new home.
