It's a bit more complicated than that with all due respect.Although you'll get about an extra 50 odd h.p. free it's going to cost a lot of money to do right. All the standard rubber attatched to the tank including breathers has to be replaced, the standard outlet needs to be enlarged, surge tank req'd,2 alcohol compliant fuel pumps, minimum 8mm bundy tube fuel line down and return to tank,2 compliant filters, your 1000cc injectors will be fine.I had the need to purchase some replacement rubber fuel line last week for one of the race cars at a cost of $25 meter, the engine will need a dyno run and re tune to get it sorted not sure if the factory computor has wide enough scope to tip that much extra fuel in either, homework for you as we run aftermarket gear. All in all i'd say spend your money elsewhere.Cheers

Hi DD,I don't remember which model Patrol as we where more interested in finding something on the Repco shelf quickly that we could make work in quick time as the car was sitting on the dyno.As it turned out we found a new unit from OEX with a part number of HXA070 and it made 90A,the mounting points on the bottom lined up the same as the A series(later model block in front of dissy)as did the top tensioner bracket, all I had to do was remove the new alternator pulley and replace it with the one from the old alternator so to run the normal V belt, seem to remember placing a 3mm washer behind the pulley to align the belt properly.

As far as manifolds are concirned,I fabricated everything in house as was unable to buy anything that would work off the shelf.

If anyone is interested,I had to change alternators to run all the electrics associated with turbo fuel injection and I used a Nissan Patrol unit, only req'd a pulley downgrade back to the standard one.

Good luck with your sale, least you get a free bump lol

I'm doing a little better than sikyne with a rate of 6.1mpg with a similar but very docile A12 turbo running on E85 jungle juice compared to Simons beast.
More to the point ...who cares how much fuel we use in the race cars anyway??Got to be cheaper than sex

If this guy is serious and gets his 18k(or there abouts)I may think about filling a couple of containers and sending them to australia.s eastern island to flog it all off.
I should get enough dough to pay cash for a water front property on the mainland
