It pains me to do this but due to work my ute and my wifes ute shell are up for sale:

eBay add

I have to spend the second half of the year in Sale, Vic and need something a bit more practical to carry the wife and kids in when they come and visit (maybe a 1200 sedan or wagon, if anyone has one for sale?).

If anyone is interested jump on eBay or send us a PM. The CA wagon is still on the go though, that definitely won't be for sale.

Wetherill Park panels is the way to go, the bloke on eBay sources his panels from them, so his are obviously more expensive. I bought all my panels from them, and they were anywhere from $10-$40 cheaper depending on the panel.

Your planned setup sounds a little wrong to me. You might see show cars with 6" and 6x9s mounted right next to one another, but itdoes bugger all for sound quality. 6x9s really should be mounted to the rear, and they're more suitable for full bodied cars.

If I were you I'd buy some good quality 6" splits and mountthem in the kick panel, tweeters in the corner of the dash. I'd also get a four channel amp and one of those base driver mini subs, both can be angle mounted under your seats.

If your seats are that bad convert it back to standard, then you might even be able to fit a 10" woofer, although that would be overkill.

The price is about right. Most places I've dealt with would charge $10k plus for the work you're talking about. One place I used to work next door to quoted me $10k, but had lifetime warranty on their work, a big call and a big advantage.

These same dude's also talked me into teaching myself to spray paint and save myself a ####load.

if it is a genuine grille badge of an xu-1 then it will be the same as your everyday lc/lj torana badges and nothing special so porbably be worth $30

It's the actual GTR badge, not the LC/LJ grille emblem. NOS GTR badges are $50, so since mine is genuine Holden (which you cannot buy) it should be worth more.

You gotta put things like this in perspective I suppose. We don't value Holden stuff because we like Datto's, and pay some crazy prices for Datto stuff. Some bloke rebuilding his genuine XU1 GTR may pay through the nose, and then laugh when I tell him what a GX bonnet goes for.

Way off topic, sorry.

Consider this a bump 'coz way off topic.

What did you do to your knee? My wife is having a knee recon in June. Torn ACL, torn cartilage and dislocated kneecap. She did it playing basketball.

Nice coupe as well.
