I was working up in Darwin at the start of the year, saw this beast (at least I think it was, the number plate looks familiar) cruising Mitchell St a couple of times. Only ever saw it in passing, so never got a chance to chat to the bloke or have a look over it. I think its turbo'd now.

From what I've read sounds like a bit of a storm in a D cup. In the end it's up to the engineer you use, no two have the same interpretation. If an engineer signs off on your car and something doesn't meet RTA standards it's on their head, not yours. I think where the system falls down is the blokes that get their car engineered then make blatantly stupid changes like BOVs and pod filters after the fact. It's always the one or two dickheads that ruin it for everyone else.

To me that PDF is just outlining some proposed name changes and pointing out rules that have been in existence for some time, a little gee up to show the general public that the Govt is doing something. Like has already been said, the Govt doesn't want to kill off engineers or the after market part industry.

Shocks me what I'm reading here. I've been away from the Datto community, and this site, for some time now (damn work and buying houses). Today I decide to logon (don't ask why, don't know myself) and I'm reading stuff like this. I have some pretty strong views on this subject which I won't express in full here, but to put it short while I hate animal cruelty I'm deadset against destroying a $300mil a year economy. I've got plenty of ideas as to how we can fix both, and have been voicing them across the right channels.

Aust banning live exports to Indon won't stop animal cruelty. Neither will sensationalist views and personal insults on a Datto community forum fix the problem.

I questioned the RTA about this when I had my ute. Answer I was given is that because alot of self employed tradies registered their utes for private use not business the RTA made the decision to charge the commercial/business levy on all utes.

As per usual a couple of mindless morons spoil life for the rest of society.

Why the (possible) sale Benny?

What do Kate Middleton and Bin Laden have in common?

Last week some bloke from the Navy smashed in their back door then shot a load in their face.

I'm up for it, but how do you propose to run it?

Personally, I find UFC and MMA boring (and I'm an MMA exponent). Weapons are way more fun, anyone for using tools and random datto parts?

we have dropped the price of my wagon by $700 so that it can seell. i seriously dont want it to go but i am a realist and understand that it needs to go whether i like it or not. have to sacrifice so much to buy a house. not happy.

so as is stated in the listing on here for it we have dropped the reserve and so if someone wants the wagon project $3200 and its yours!!!!! we move in like 2wks n cant keep her.
