Dude, I was trying to help you out. For future reference maybe you should prepare what you say in your posts a bit better. Had you stated you had a factory A12 from the start with the promised photo attached this crap doesn't happen.
I got up the boys before but I'll back 'em up now. All the bloke's on this site love their Datsun's, and most of them know them back to front. By making such an outlandish statement with no proof you just left yourself open to criticism, and I think it is unfair for you to get so worked up when reallistically you brought it on yourself.
I to work my ass of to make a living. I showed you some respect when no one else did, so how bout a bit my way.
Or are you still having your hissy-fit?

Never said you were being smart. I genuinely wanted to see what he had so we could all pick it apart and get to the bottom of it.
Maybe someone pulled the wool over his eyes, sold an A12 turbo set up and said it was genuine. With evidence we can all point things out and put this fella on the straight and narrow.

I think everyone's scared this bloke off. A shame really coz it would have been good to see what he could show us.

I did come across a bit harsh, but I just can't stand dudes baggin' others for the sake of looking good or seeming smart. Especially since we're all here for the same reason, our love of the 1200!!

Although it is highly unlikely that this motor exists, you guys will look like idiots if he can produce evidence of one. Instead of jumping all over a statement because you disagree with it, wait for all avenues to be explored.
For future reference though, it probably would have been better to take the photos and post them before making such a controversial statement.

The mill in that 1600 has 335kw atrw stated in the paper. I haven't seen that many sr20 turbo engines with that kinda mumbo.
It is great that more and more datto's are performing well on such a stage. Maybe we need to get some club cruises together for the 'nats in future. Have a huge ensemble of 1200's parading down the Hume!
Unfortunately my sack of crap ain't worth entering.

Go for a standard colour. If you spend the cash to get a custom mixed paint and some prick keys your ride you'll have to paint the whole thing again.
Ford blue print is a hot colour but every wog and his dog has it now, just like the volvo tiger mica epic a few years back.
Race into a few new car dealers and grab some brochures, these always have colour listings.
