Hey guys and gals, I'm chasing an A10 bottom end, pref. complete in Adelaide. I'd like to pay bugger all as I just want to get a look at the insides and take some measurements. Can anyone help with this strange request??? Cheers. Adam.

Maddat does an awsome brake upgrade for 1200s. He did one for my two door, and now there available as an off the shelf kit. "This conversion saved my life once". well worth having!

Hey there boostin, oan878 is right, get all the door jambs and engine bay blasted but you'll have to do the rear quaters and the roof... the old fashoned way. BY HAND! Thats what I was gonna do with it. Cheers. Adam.

Hi ogyris, Ive had this experience with a CA16 motor. Although you said the AFM was making it run lean, what happened to me was the motor ran rich just after a rebuild therefore glazing the bores. This meant the rings couldn't bed in properly and the motor smoked. Hope this has helped a bit. Cheers. Adam.

Hi 1000coupe, as far as i know the A10 head will bolt on but the water and oil ports dont match up with the ones in the block. eventually the motor will let go with no oil and water so dont do it stick with an A12 or A14 head. cheers. Adam.

I have known Anthony and Paul at Grand Auto Wreckers both personaly and in business for around ten years. At no time have I (or anyone I know) had a bad word to say about them. They have always gone above and beyond to help me out when building my cars because after all apart from being in business they are Datsun nuts just like us!

The "Datnats 2005 Goulburn, NSW" highlight DVD is available from Maddat, Sydney datsun club or Datnet.org.
Cheers. Adam.
