I too love the imp, I looked at purchasing one in the early 90s which was a sports sedan but at the time was just starting my Datsun projects!

The imp was very impressive, came complete with a mid mounted oldsmobile V8 in it. Now days it seems to be worth a bit of money.

Yeah, I dont have a speedo in my car but I was in fifth gear at full noise... Around 180- 200 I reckon.
