I learnt with my brothers money/ute and dads 25years of machanical knowledge. my brother and i have done most of the work ourselves on his ute (SR) but got a painter and fabricator to do the trans tunnel etc. Its not that hard when you have guru's like Kev Rowley and Dad to guide us and prevent costly mistakes. If you ignore there advice you pay for it too, but in saying that then you get advice from guys with no idea and you have to rely on the guru's advice. but in no way do i know everything about a conversion we all learn all the time and get new idea's, Even Kev changes things now and then. beauty of it is im learning and taking in as much as i can without spending a cent, so when i get round to doing mine i will try spend my dollars wisley. anyway back to work to fund the datsun's i suppose...........
yeah the wally wagon. I'v tried my best but dad says the wagon wont be out cruising, the car was purchased unregisterd and dad hasnt got round to doing it yet. He's putting it off cause he knows ill be hooning it, all the time when he does register it. The cars doing great though, its in his garage under a cover and is looking beautiful.
ill be out tonight in my ute - first time im going to take the ute for a cruise when im actually driving, first weekend iv had my L's. might see you guys out there tonight. cheers 2QK4U
My brother and i will be there tomorrow, meeting up with the datsun boys at Geoff's factory then heading off to willowbank. we should all park up maybe out on the grass car park or something, were do you guys suggest?
get up early to clean the ute and pull it out from under the cover in the garage.
