just over 200km/h me and my old man, in a toyota corolla sportivo 1.8 VVTLi top of 4th gear (6speed) - got there real quick hey awsome from 6 grand on - racing a XR6 non turbo wasted it, then tapped off, plenty moe to go though. alright right for a ROLLA! i have only ever takin my datto ute to 160km/h - no license yet so only on rare accasions do me and my old man go out to the dead roads and have some fun.

well i got my ute with the extractors on so i cant compare. they sound awsome though with the exhaust. i dont think it would make much power difference by just doing the extractors - but with head done and some performance type of intake it would all compliment each other - it all helps to flow much better and more efficientley.

and im also a yapee but comverted to australian.. ha! i left when i was six so im all aussie pretty much. yeah the Nissan 1400 bakkie champ hey! must say you should ship over some 5speed boxes and some boerewors - and mrs balls chutney along with it.

iv hit 160km/h flat strap at close too or on 6000rpm - dont really look at the tacho at this speed.... stock A14 4speed box in a 1200 ute with ute diff. must say it clocks the speedometer over fairly quickly. i do have 4-2-1 extractors though.

hey whiteline in sydney does swaybars for the 1200's its silver and is really good quality. you get new rubbers with it and i think its 18mm thick intsead of 12mm...?? really solid piece of metal though. we got one for our sr20 conversion. the only thing is the 18mm rubbers dont fit in the standard mounts so you simply get it on a bench grinder and grind it down abit. the sr one will work perfect with ca aswell. cheers

Kev rowley does very nice brake conversions, he uses 120y struts and has a fitting kit to fit CA18 (single piston) and SR20 (twin piston, hard to find though) silvia brakes and skyline brakes. the only prob with using skyline 4 pot calipers and discs is that the track of the front wheels are slightley wider - wider than the rear, because of the large caliper. (apparentley thats bad??). Iv seen it on a ute before, with massive gaurd flares to keep the wheel in the arch!! you also have to re-drill the disc to four stud pattern (120Y strut). The Sr20 or ca18 brakes work perfect though - Kev has customers that do track work with either Sr20 or Ca18 brakes with great success. On the rear they use the disc combintaion from a R31 skyline with Diff. the brakes work fine with the Standard master cylinder - you can put a booster in if you want a soft pedal - although theres no room on the fire wall with SR motor - remote booster???. Kev has had a brake test done on this brake set up and is with in engineer requierments by miles. people also believe that skyline breaks are an over kill - saying that exessive "lock up" is a possibility. IN all honesty Im going to Use the SR20 break set up iv seen it work and is easy to do. hope that helps. Supply Kev with the struts, Breaks, discs - also you need '78 onwards 120Y struts they have discs and also use larger PBR calipers, and he'll make it so you can bolt it straight up to your 1200. Hope that helps.

Supposidly it cant be done in queensland from unreliable sources. just seen the Finished Mini me - (AWSOME JOB!!) and thats fully engineered right? Mini Me - can you give us some information on what the engineer requiered for brakes etc. Apparentley its "easier" to register and engineer mod ect in NSW?????
