Nissan / Datsun close ratio race gear box
- 56A four speed.

Ratios are:
1st = 2.1690
2nd = 1.5927
3rd = 1.2328
4th = 1

Have been lead to believe this is on of the original "shell sport" coupe gear boxes, as designed/built by Reg Cook in NZ - probably the last one still in existence.

Rebuilt one race meeting ago.

Being sold to finance a gear box for my new project.

Yep, this is only 1300cc and you would be hard pressed to find a better 1300cc engine still N/A.

This has excellent HP for a 1300cc push rod and has the torque to go with it .... a real stump puller!

When I was running this engine, often I was quicker thsn the 1500 & 1600cc cars in the class.

Condition: it is curently out being "freshened" so will be sold in a brand new state.

Any ideas what this is worth?

Or anyone want to buy it?

There are two sides to every story and don't believe this is the correct place to discuss or argue this.

To cut long stores short, neither of these two guys delivered what they promised or verbally contracted to supply.
