Mate it all depends on who's selling it and for what reasons. In April of this year i brought a very tidy 120y sedan with only 66000km's on the clock. The only rust i could find was on the inside of the door corners because the water channel had got full of junk. There were a few small dings in one panel and light scratches in others but other than that nothing major, all she needed was a good cut and polish. The interior was mint and just needed a clean. The engine needed a service but ran like magic after that. Just keep an eye out for a rusted fuel tank, check the fuel cap as its a good indicator. Mine had started to rust through, which explained the consistently strong smell of petrol inside the car. As soon as you get the chance flush out the cooling system and fuel lines and replace the thermostat as you will find that it will be stuffed. Back to the point, i recommend you buy it, offer around $400. I brought mine off a old lady who owned it since new and only paid $460 including rego for 12 months which she was happy to pay for me coz she got it at half price being a pensioner. If the seller is old then get them to pay for the rego for you, as it will make no difference to them and a big difference to you. Then change the rego over to yourself at vicroads, that should cost you about $60, but you'll have to get a r/w done on it as well. Best of luck getting the car Nick

For the past 10 years has mainly been used to travel short distance to and from work. The interior is in very good condition with wear only showing on the drivers seat. The dash has no cracks or splits and is in excellent condition. The car is straight with the exception of a small hit to the rear left which has broken the rear light assembly lens and pushed in the panel. The boot and bumper escaped the damage but the panel below the bumper was pushed in. Rust is fairly minimal considering its age, although there is some surface rust in the bottom corners of the doors and in the wheel wells. The engine is still strong but is due for a service, and new clutch kit fitted 6 months ago. Still has registration till 27 March 2006
