Can anyone tell me if i can get them through the local nisasn spare parts department?

Part numbers would be a great help also!

The guys at my local nissan dealer are about as useful as tits on a bull so part #'s will save a lot of hassle.

Cheers

Just wanted to know the cost for a set of new pistons for both an A12 & A15?

Does nissan still supply the standard oversizes through the dealer spare parts department?

Any part numbers would be much appreciated.

cheers

where r u from mate?

as far as i know, if your car didn't come with a left hand mirror than its legal.

im not sure about a 1200 ute, but 120ys could be optioned with 13inch wheels and therefore would be legal to fit 13's.
as long as your wheels don't stick out from your gaurds and your speedo isn't affected by a great deal you should b right.
185/60 sounds about right on a 13 inch rim
the tyres will have to meet or exceed the standard load rating of the 12's

i thought you needed to go to the rta or the local police station to get them to check, not sure otherwise

don't let the buggers push you around just coz u drive a datsun

I've dove the silvia upgrade but didn't need to rebuild the calipers so can't give you a definate answer.
Although, i have had a set of brake calipers from an old alfa rebuilt by "Australian Brake Specialist" in clayton. They done a great job and i'm sure they would be able to get the kits for you at the very least.

If your running a 13b in your 1200 then you may be interested in this

For sale is an inlet manifold that came with a 13b.
It has been altered to fit dcoe webers or dellorto carbys rather than the convensional ida webers.
It uses a thick alloy plate that has been cut and match ported to the inlet manifold.
It has new studs fitted to the plate for the dcoe/dhla carby pattern.

Great quality, would suit quad throttle bodies.
If your interested please let me know

I would suggest that you bolt the head, distributor, cam, manifolds and carby from your A12 directly onto the A15.
The gains should be enough to please!

If you need a little more power you could also shave the head down a little more to bring up the compression.
Most A15 are low compression and have extra clearence for the valves so you should be ok to take a fair skim off the head.

What power were you getting out of the A12?
and how much did you want from the A15?

Good luck mate
