I've just finished fitting fixed back cobra seats to my 1200 & the improvement is amazing. I can now stretch my legs out properly. By using a sheet of 3mm plate to attach the seats to the rails, it mean't I could place the seats further back than standard.

Pepper, be careful of these type of nutters. I had one living next to me & he would come in our yard & cut our trees a metre inside the fence line. My wife wanted to rip him a new one but I said he was dangerous. After we sold out, he threatened to kill the new neighbours kids for making too much noise. The best bet is just to say, "sure mate, I'll be much quieter from now on" & then just ignore him. It worked for me.

Can you imagine rocking up to Bob Jane & asking for those tyres on those rims.

Thanks Harry. I have pretty much ruled out bolt on flares as they would have to go over the back door to look right as the standard flare line goes into the door. I should have checked those wheels first. It looks like the cheapest & best option may be to get another set of mags with the right offset. Otherwise I will just get the guards flared.

Does anyone have a photo of them fitted as I am worried how they will look on a sedan. Can I fit a rear flare and clear the back door?

Does anyone know who sells small 25 to 30mm flares (pref in brisbane). As they are going on a sedan I don't want a big flare on the front & none on the back & it doesnt need it any way. Pics would be hepful.

I think I found the answer myself. They are B310 Sunny Brakes off an A14 or A15 as they are 9.5 inches (245mm) diameter & match the picture from an earlier thread perfectly. Still leaves me with the same problem but explains why it stops good though.

p.s. Yes John I haven't fitted the nice grill, or my new seats or the A14 I picked up or the electric heater demister. It is a slow process unfortunately.

I was just comparing my car & my daughters. On her car the guard clearance is close front & back but on mine the front tyres stick out where the back almost clears the guard. I was told the car has 120y Discs. Do these affect offset or are they something else.
This is a pic of my brakes:

The trouble is that i spent $250 getting them powdercoated & they did a really good job. I suppose I could get the tyres put on the chromies I have but is seems like I'm going backwards. Maybe I should have bought the globes. I think they were the right offset.
