I was reading 1200 coupes article on oil pumps. How do I know if my oil pump is a high volume pump? If it's not, what exactly do I need to convert my pump to a high volume pump ?

I have a worked A-14 that redlines at 10,500 rpms.

The push rods are of lightweight material from Tomei. The push rods are not damaged.

At the risk of sounding totally stupid. Is it that the lack of oil flow from the rocker shaft/ rockers and down through the return ports over the cam and lifters wiped them out .
