-This box cost me $400 to buy and $350 to rebuild. Will only consider offers over $500.

As the title say's - can the lateral front leaf spring in a 1000 be modified i.e Springs added/changed or re-set for more stiffness???

2 1000's at the same wrecker! There hasn't been a 1000 at any wreckers here in canberra since 1969!!

G'day, I am a bit worried about the oil supply to the head on my A14. When started if i take the oil cap off no oil seems to be spraying around in there, should I -

-Flush the oil system with that nulon stuff?

- get my hands on an electric oil pressure guage and see what the pressure is?

- piss the oil pump off and fit one from the wrecker?

- use thicker oil to indrease oil pressure at startup?

-Just keep driving?

G'day, The steering box in my 1000 ute has shat itself and dropped its oil all over steering rack and pitman arm. What i'm asking is what other steering box's will suit. I know a 1200 one will fit but i haven't had any luck finding one.. Could i use one from a 120y??????????Has anyone ever had one re-built? what did it set u back?

Cheers Tyrie I'll go out and have a look. There pretty pricey, dude charged me $10 for a sump plug!!
