Isnt the oil and temp sender and oil on the right hand side of the block (distrubuter side)????

Just have these 2 wires hanging as they puugged into this bolt on the right side of the 1200 and there is nothing that correlates to this on the a15 block??? Are you saying that they do not matter....

That would be great! Also if anyone has picturees of an a15 in a sunny, please let me know where they are! The engine is bolted in but there are a few differences between a15 and a15?

For example, a12 block has a nut on the side of the head (right side) with a couple of wires leading out! A15 does not have this, thus wires are still handing! Not sure how important they are????

Has anyone done this conversion in a datsun sunny before??? If so Id like to ask a few questions!

Motor is out of a Nissan Vanette and replaced my standard a12 motor!

Is there any labelled diagrams on this forum of a complete a15 motor?

Had an A12 in my Sunny, converted to an A15. A15 has electronic distributer! Still have the original coil and ballist resistor mounted which was running to the points distributer on the original A12! What do I have to do? Do I remove the resister and run the positive and negative striaght to the distributer????

I have just completed a little conversion in my Sunny and have swapped my A12 for an A15! Extractors do not fit on A15 as inlet manifold is too big. Hence is anyone interested in buying them? They are made by Genie.

Does anyone have extractors to suit an A15 motor? I have extractors from my a12 but they hit the inlet manifold on the a15 motor!

If I lived in NSW, id make an offer but since im in adelaide and have not time at the moment, its out of the question!

Im surprised it has not sold yet! 1200 utes over here go for $5-6000 without turbo and with faided paint!
