You said that it was fireing, so it can't be the module. all you need is compression , fuel, & fire at the right time???????????? H ave you crackrd your fuel line after the converter, then turn the engine over to tell whether you have fuel comming through the converter?
Are you gonna use the same engine that was mated to the automatic tranny? The reason I ask is cause here in the US the A-14 engine with an automatic has a lip on the end of the crankshaft that might have to be ground down with a grinder to mate to the manual tranny. Then you will be set to mate them together. Just remembering what it took it's been a while since I done that conversion.
I don't know about the right hand drive one but the U.S. version don't have an extra box under the dash for the clutch pedal, that's why I had to make my own "L" bracket to weld to the side ,and box it in.
That would be the thing to do there sleeper. That would tell you alot. Didn't you tell us that you increased your ignition timming some . Might have been too much.
