Depends on what you plan to do with the car. Just restoring then build the A-12. wanting more power , then go with another engine transplant.

I have a 72 coupe and it didn;t have a tach, instead it had a clock. But clock is gone now and aftermarket tach sets in it's place. So I don't know about the options .

Get a police officer to test your spped with a radar . I f you yalk to them right they will be glad to do this. then record this info with your tachometer.

I live in ALABAMA . No emission tests here . I just blocked mine off .never worry about that again,lol

The 5-speed that I have in mine is from a 78 B-210 GX ( sunny over there ), bolts directly to an A-14. Mine is a dogleg 5 though.
