Hi everyone, my wagon has brackets on each of the rear panel windows to hold a pole across the window.

I have seen an old brochure advert showing it, (see below) but doesnt say wat its for.
It says something about a parcel shelf but that high up in the windows? not likely

anyone have any ideas?

Both cars are 2 door

mk1 is just a rolling shell in primer and is a
genuine one owner car that's only ever kissed one shopping trolly and
not even surface rust ever! Best mk1 ever and is 100% straight and has
most of the windows has bumpers and dash.

Mk2 has everything my mk2 had but is just bare metal mostly. 2l, twin
45s cam, blueprinted, headers + full exhaust race dash, all windows cept
Windscreen, no window rubbers, spoilers, close ratio 4sp, Borg Warner,
hot-wires with full tread, most bits are there..
