Hi, Dave your float valves could be hung open, or you might of had some sediment in the bottom of your float bowls and it is now plugging some of your jets.I would remove the float covers and check the float movement. Then remove the jets one at a time and blow them out with carb cleaner. That should help your problem or give you a good starting point as to whats not wrong with your carbs. Good luck Larry.

Try heating the aluminum body with a propane torch after using a good penatrating oil. Make sure you have the adjuster secured in a vice. Good luck Larry.

Just use a datsun B-310 electronic dizzy,or convert the bluebird (610) or violet (710) dizzy to work with the msd box. Those dizzy's have a two wire magnetic hall effect switch that the msd box can read. Good luck, Larry

Gary, the simple answer is yes. You might have to adjust the push rod length or drill a new hole in the bracket on the push rod to get the pedal travel correct. Larry

Hey Rallytwit, did you run the new section of track that makes it a 3.1 miles. I'll be there on june 2nd-4th racing with Vara. I think Steve Smith introduced you to me a few years ago. I race a Datsun 510, orange/white/blue. You should come up and race that weekend or at least stop in for a cold beer. If you stop by look for a 240z BRE look alike and ask for Larry, hope to see you there.

Matt , you must not have been to many vintage races or scca events lately. Because I've seen more 240z at those events than I have at the drags. And I go to Irwindale and pomona for all the drag races/drag nites. My personal opinion is that you'll see more z's roadracing and autocrossing in california than you will dragracing.
