They do stop well, but I want a vented disc so when I do a track day I can avoid brake fade. The car is getting restored now so it's the best time to sort out brakes and wheels

That's good that their is good quality parts for a series. I'm not sure how good the I beam rods are that you can get on eBay or max speeding or whatever they are called but they are hard to pass due to price. Iv heard standard rods are strong once shot peened, is this true?

Cheers, i agree it looks heavy but look fat at the same time. New calipers can be bought cheap off eBay as well, not sure on the quality over rebuilt oem.

I haven't but have been told that if you get the standard rods shot peened they will handle a lot of punishment.

Hi all i would like some opinions one a brake upgrade for my stanza struts. Engine will be a15 turbo. I'm tossing up between hilux s12+8 with u12 rotor or varada rotor and vl commodore caliper. Want to keep weight down and fit 14" wheels. What's people's thoughts on the 2 choices. I'm thinking the 4 piston caliper will be overkill. I was going to do the the c22 vanette upgrade but don't want to machine anything off the strut. I'd prefer to leave the strut as is and machine the disc/ hub.

Hi all can someone remember the name of the guy that was making rocker covers in NZ. They were alloy and looked high quality.

Cheers
