I guys i have upgraded my alternator to a 60 amp internal regulator. I am also replacing/upgrading the battery positive wire from the alternator to battery. What i want to know is should i keep the same fusable link or do i need to replace it to a higher amp fuseable link? Another question i have, is thier a difference between stereo power cable and auto power cable. The only thing iv noticed is that the stereo cable is more flexiable than the auto cable. Cheers

Looks like a good buy. I like the A series engine, im kind of sick of seeing CA and SR in 1200s it seems to be so common these days. You cant go wrong with the power to weight ratio with the SR or CA.

Someone buy the shell before it gets cut up, it can be fixed iv seen it and its not that bad. It would be mine if i had the room for it. If only i had mates that liked Datsuns.... it will be a shame if it got cut up

Im not sure about the turbo you are mentioning but a garett t2 or t25 should be what you are looking for. The t2 were fitted to the nissan exa/pulsar et which was 1.5L, so on an a series engine it should be fine.

A T28 or T25 should be good. Any bigger than a t28 will be laggy i think, im only guessing. Iv fitted a t2 (nissan exa turbo) to my car but its not running yet

Hi i have a question regarding the a e15 dizzy in a a14. Negative on coil is connected to the blue wire on dizzy as stated in wiki and black white wire on dizzy has been connected to the + side of coil with a wire which has been added in. now the weird part, the earth terminal on the dizzy also connects back to the + side of the coil. Is this normal does not seem right but the car did run fine. I came across this when i was tiding up the harness. Any explanations from experts...... Please
