dad was driving my lil ute round and a guy was waiting in the carpark for him to return for like 20 minutes or so to put an offer up. to this dad said it aint for sale n the guy said everythings fofr sale and offered prices which quickly reached 20 grand... dont worry he didnt budge n its still here

i also get "go the datto" screamed at me at traffic lights. always puts a smile on the dile. the best tho is when people just stare as it going past and you see them mouthing "what the F*&^ is that thing"

it appears as if some people like having their good old dattos but wanna modern them up a lil too much. if u want a trick dash that looks the #### with all the gauges get another vehicle. if u want simple and real clean looking keep your original dash, cover in new fabric and chuck a bit of paint on it. thats what i did with mine and it looks badass and is 100% datsun.

yeh man ur right. it is rhino lining. forgot exactly how much it was. like 500 i think. not too shore. will have to check with dad later. its awesome stuff. am looking to put a fiberglass lid over the top of it so you will hardly ever see the stuff but oh well. fifnally got some speakers to go in there, now just waiting for my brother to come round and hook it all up for me

yeah man, just hold the button in the tray and it releases n u can lower the tray down. putting it back up just hold the button in again to make the cylinders contract and then move into place and let go and its securely locked. when i get the time i'll get some photos of hte inside of the tailgate to show u guys exactly what is going on. is a pretty nifty piece of work that dad came up with i reckon.
