Thanks for checking it out - sounds good to me - are you able to take a photo just to make sure?

How much do you want for it? We can probably come up this week sometime to pick up if that's convenient.

Cheers,
Charlotte

pepper - if you are sure you have a working alternator, easy enough to come and pick it up. How much do you want for it?

Hi All,

I am chasing some bits for my 1971 1200 coupe with A15.

The first thing I think is some kind of control box, my partner tells me that among other things, it regulates the amount of charge going through the alternator to the battery. The is a relay inside that has a burnt out coil, so I am just looking to replace the whole box. Please see the photos below:

The other thing I need is an alternator, as the bushes are gone in mine. I think due to the control box not doing its job. The motor is an A15 so just any alternator that will fit and do the job.

I am located on the Gold Coast but could probably travel up to Brisbane/Sunshine Coast/Toowoomba to pick up the parts.

Hoping someone can help me out!

Thanks,
Charlotte

Apparently (bf's orders) I'm not allowed to spend more than $200 so if you can manage to drop it to that price you have a deal.

Thanks for your reply datsunb120

$250 sounds a bit more than I wanted to spend for one that doesn't have linkages. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by 'still reusable' regarding the extractors? Does this mean they are in good condition or not?

If you aren't overly keen to get rid of them at the moment I might just try and see what else is out there, and keep your offer in mind!

Come on datto people, surely someone has either a Weber or a set of extractors sitting in their garage/shed they want to get rid of?

Name your price and I will tell you if it is within my budget, assuming that it will all work ok on an A15 - can anyone confirm this?
