Thanks for the extra details about the cars guys, I have added the info to the site. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get out to the sprints this year, so there will be no footage or pics! I did get to Jamboree though and there were some very nice 1200's there so keep an eye out for the pics sometime in the next week.

I know 1200's aren't the most popular tow car, but does anyone have of of these lying around they dont want in the SE Qld area? Do they even make them for 1200's?

Wow don't they look awesome polished! Mikali did you get them polished or did you buy them like that? If you did, where and how much?

I have a set on my coupe, needed special wheelnuts but they fit *ok* on Stanza struts with rolled front guards - only thing is they are a bit big in total diameter and scrubbed on the back of the inner guards (with 195/50/15's) and the front guards too - had to do a bit of creative modification. ;) Might be better with some more castor though.

I'm also looking at getting some real nice Falkens which are 195/45/15's - should definitely fit a bit better then.

Hi all,

I urgently need to replace the stuffed alternator on my coupe - its making terrible grindy noises and I don't think it's going to last much longer!

If anyone in the Toowoomba, Brisbane, Gold Coast areas has one lying around that they aren't using and don't want too much for, can they please let me know?

I'm really broke at the moment and cant afford to go and get a new one.

Also if anyone knows of another alternator off another engine that will fit and work (ie. L-series?) that would be cool too ...

I can get a photo of the alternator if required
