Current daily driver.
Lexus L400(great car 4ltr v8).
good for towing the race 1000 coupe.

I have been playing with datsun 1000,s for about 18 years.
Have 2 coupes,1 wagon and 1ute.
My ute is a 67 model with full round head light surounds which seems to have a different grill to all other 1000,s
Mounting scews are in different positions.

I've known Geoff (owner) and Scott (Son) for a few years now. I met them when I purchased some fibreglass guards for my 1000 ute.
This 1000 sedan has some great engineering work done on it. The rear suspension and watts link set up is a work of art!
They where into speedway cars and the engineering has carried through to their race cars.
Geoff is currently building a hot A series for this sports sedan. Watch out!!!
His son Scott also has a very tidy and fast Mini.

This is a terrible time for Victoria. The devistation is beyond belief. So many lives lost and homes destroyed. We have friends that we have not been able to locate in these areas and hope that they are safe.
Too tragic.

Thought I'd let you know that there are some twin Hitachi carby's on EBAY.
Hitachi twin carburettors Item number: 270333908639
Next best thing to webbers at a quarter of the price and easier to tune.

Just thought I would let you know that I purchased this car from PickaPart's holding yard about 13 or 14 years ago. I sold it because I am in to Datsun 1000's. Sorry I can't remember how much I bought or sold it for. When I purchased it the car had rust along the left hand front floor near the tunnel but was otherwise very straight and original.

Hi all
I have not been doing much as all my datto,s are in storage as i build my 6 car american barn. Which i hope to have finnished about easter.
Sorry Sean the kb10 cannot be removed from storage.
Hanging out to drive the coupes again and the rat 1000 ute is nearly finnished.
