This is an ebay listing,
Wondered if anyone knows how to hook this up.. looks like the plug is different and there is an extra wire with a female round connector.

bidding says that it fits a 71-73 1200

Hi,

I need an engine wiring harness suitable for a manual transmission, LHD, 1973 Datsun 1200.

Mine is hacked, spliced and melted beyond repair. Would like to buy one that is NOT any of these things.

Let me know if anyone has anything that would work for me.

Peace

SLAM

rich and rough... got lots of tuning to do.
Plus I pulled the rad that I had and now need to modify the new one that I bought to fit and then mod all intake piping and mod intercooler.
Gotta get it cold, it overheats really quickly

I just bought a 10" electric fan with a rating of 1550 CFM.

I dont know if i will use it or use the original one.

Has anyone ever built a fan shroud for the stock fan to get it to be a bit more efficient? Thinking of fabbing one up at work and bolting it on with my new rad.

Just to let you guys know that if you are looking for a good replacement aluminium 3 row rad that will fit right in your 1200 with minimal mods then get a 94-00 aftermarket alum rad for a honda civic.

I just bought one, I need to make a little mounting bracket for the top, I also drilled 2 holes in the frame below where it mounts to insert the little mounting pins that are on the rad into the frame of the 1200.

Then it needs the 1.25" inlet and outlets cut off and replaced with 1"
But remember to cap the bottom one because it is on the wrong side of the rad and move it to the other side.

The rad was a whopping $42
