Depends how your weld is, if you didnt get some good penetration it'll break. But I guess that if others have made it work then you should.

Was it with a MIG? And how much heat did you put into it.. What power rating was the welder? If you used my little 100Amp Welder it would be the same as if you used epoxy :P

If it holds I say your Tranny, its so weak.

BooM! hehe

I can see both sides of the story,
If your going to go out and drive around dangerously and put ppls lives at risk then your an idiot.
But if your being safe about it then do what you want, its your money when you pay the stunting ticket.
Go do that #### out in the industrial section of town late at night on a quiet road.

Thats what I would do so that I wouldnt kill anyone or get a ticket.

We have an event up here in Lethbridge once a year called "street machine weekend" 100footer, show and shine, cruise, drifting.
On the cruise night there is always a new layer of rubber on the main cruise strip in town. The residents dont seem to mind, actually they encourage it. "LIGHT EM UP!" they shout... I had to just turn up my stereo becuase I'm driving a Civic with $200 tires

hmm, sounds like its running lean to me, careful if it is becuase you can bag your engine. is it getting enough fuel? do you need bigger jets when turboing an a series? I dunno, maybe someone else can answer this, ask ddgonzal, he is a datsun genious, just like most of the guys around here.

I dunno, I like em, my wifes grandpa has one on his farm and I like it.

The muffler is falling off but thats about it, there isnt much rust for an old vehicle and it has the Z24 engine.

I gots my eye on it for when they move away from the farm, gonna buy it, slam it, respray, airbags maybe, shave the tailgate etc... that would be sweet

If its the right price I'd buy the one your looking at, as long as its not in too bad shape

I'll let you know.

btw, got my truck in a drivable condition this past weekend, apart from flat tires but still need to solve my braking issues I think

Peace bro

Yeah, Im pretty sure that I would be doing up an old MAzda, or maybe an old corolla.
But you didnt include Skylines in the list... yeah it would be a Skyline
