Is a two door sedan a rare thing?

I was just wondering becuase my Datto is a 2 door sedan.

Are there any members of this Club in NW US or SW Canada?

I dont know much about anything I talk about but a couple of things.

Shipping costs a bomb, for me to move all my stuff from England to Canada it costs

I forgot that the 1200 was a 4 spd gearbox. So the 1600 has a 5 spd g/box.

I know where I can find a really messed up 1600 maybe have the tranny out of that and put it in...

This is a great club for me..

I recently picked up a '73 Datsun 1200 for about 150 bucks US and I am going to start work on it soon.

I need some ideas about what to do to it and how to modify it.

I was going to completely change the engine, I had a mustang 2.4L engine to put in but so much work.
So I have decided to keep the original lump and clean it up and wack a turbo system on it.
I want the car to have good performance with not too much work.

Its original paint is on it but its scrappy, so a respray is in order.
Other than that I have not come up with any ideas yet, maybe all you Datsun pros can give me a few ideas, i will keep you all posted on what I do to it.

It will be a few months before I will start on it becuase its in Canada and my father in laws :) I'm not Canadian...yet! As soon as I get back I will start.

Hopefully it will be a phat little car in the end.
