My 1000 uses a Toyota radiator that fits full width of the bay. Its a 3 core. I have no idea which corolla its out of though.
I unfortunatly holed it when I backed over a curb and the engine shifted forward. The fan gouged a section out of the bottom.
I didn't realise at the time and kept driving......cooked and seized the motor. This is the incident that prompted the building of the motor I have now.

I'll be getting rid of that rad when the new motor gets in. I have a pretty alloy one to replace it.

I'm 110kg so I don't need a booster in a little car
Though I did upgrade the old 1000 to vented discs

I'm going to get myself a cheap digi camera and go over the car from top to bottom as I rebuild it.
There is already a pic of the chassis and my car on this site in the pic album. This is from its orig build by the former owner.

If so I contacted him yesterday and sent my engine specs to him today to have a gander over to see if he could suggest a batter cam and pistons for me.
I'm itchin to get this A series hopping regardless of whether I use it in a road or race application. I think I'll run it in the sports sedan for a year or so before I put the big engine in and put the A back into my 1000 coupe road car.

Maybe after I eventually get mine finished I can send you my info and you can have info on a 1000 2dr sedan sports sedan too.

My car weighs 620kg (1364lb)
If I manage to get 180hp out of the A15 like i hope thats 7.57

If I put in that SR20DET I'm thinking of at 400rwHP then 3.41 is the magic #

That'll make it pucker up.

I spoke to the SR engine builder today. 400 rwHP is conservative he says. 500 would be closer to the mark for the car.

Are we scared yet ??
