yes but would skyline be over kill for a little 1000 coupe with an turboed a14? what have other people done for the rear end with the 1000 also is the ute diff from a 1000 stronger than the sedans as that is the case with the 1200s

well it will be set up for street and ocasionall race also i drive resonably hard so would it be woirth while shortening a ute diff ? also thanks for the advice i guess i will have to decied when i get to that part lol i can takes pics in a week or two as thats when i get the car but it is just a rolling shell bare metal which needs to be painted so nothing special but i am expecting the engine to be pretty torque as every thing for it is brand new with bigger pistons and so on also aiming to inject it be will see how funds go

hey guys just bought another datto, a 1000 coupe which i havent picked up yet, its all stripped with pretty much new every thing but i was thinking of turbo ing the a14 that it has and was just wondering how much room is there behind the grill to fit a small intercooler also how will the diff cope with a turboed a series?

hey every one i was watching the new power cruise dvd the other week and saw an awsome 1200 ute it was just bellowing out smoke and was drifting like mad but was just wondering what engine was in it as it didnt say

ha ha yeah sorry ment cg13 was thinking ca18 in my head for some reason and the only thing thats worrying me about the conversion is the box and bell housing as i dont really want to get one custom made also if i were to turbo it would it be able to be enginered in nsw if i did brakes etc

cg18de are the micra engines was just wondering if it was do able as i am now not going to put a ca in my ute and can get a 1000 coupe for cheap with alot of parts for it and wanted to do something different other wise i would use an a15

i know this may sound abit wierd but has any one ever thought about putting a 1.3l nissan micra engine in a 1000 or is it to hard due to the engine originally being fwd instead of rwd
