hey everyone just thought i would show an update on the progress of my 1000 coupe put the motor in today just dummy fit with radiator and stuff. will fab up mounts tomorrow and next week also should have the box trial fiited as well
hey every one well it is time for me to build the car i want instead of buying peoples half finsihed dream well first of the car is a 1000 coupe which i have big plans for this includes a b6 motor out of the first model mx5 also being 1.6 means i can legally turbo it, fully rebuild the car from ground up inculding full bare metal respray throw in a heap of carbon fiber and make it a real clean streeter slash occasional circit car so keep ur eye out for it as i wll be updating photos regulary fisrt instalments of phots will be this weekend
gday mate it just so happens a friend of mine has an aqua 120y with an sr20det in it what a small world, he just used the stock crossmember and modified that and pushed the gearbox tunnel out with a jack also a 240k master clyinder will bolt straight in and is a good upgrade.
hey every now i know it has been talked about alot but has any one found a diff for the 1000 that isnt a skyline one and would cope with a fair amount of harrasment
well my budget doesnt matter atm as all my money is directed to my car atm and it will be a daily driver when finshed for a about 6 months then purely a weekend car also A series is out of the question as much as i love them i just want a more modern engine
hey every one i am in a bit of a dilema about engine choices for the 1000 coupe as i have a built a12 with 5 speed but i want more power but want to keep it legal and modernise it i have read some where about the cr14de engine and the cga3de engine as these seem the easiest lightest choice but was wondering if it would be worth while putting a sr16ve into it or is it to big and heavy aslo i am open to any decisions towards choice of engine but it must be a nissan motor much help would be appreciated
hopefully buy january my cga3de will be here in australia if sss can find me one over in japan so if u can hold out that long i could tell u what would be able to bolt up or be modified to fit as i am putting one in a 1000 coupe and will make it work no matter what lol (am stubborn)
