Hey. Wondering if anyone out there can give me any info on prepping the fibreglass dash ready for painting? Am lookin at buying one and was thinking of painting it with an acrylic paint, maybe even 2 pac. Is there much involved in the prep? is it worth doing. Any info would be great. Cheers.

It's all good... was hopeful to use the diff but.... either way it'll be up for grabs if someone is keen.. and any other parts that someone might be after... The 720 is hopefully goin in a week or 2..

really..... Thanks for the info.... it seemed to be close so was hopeful it'd work out for me.... maybe a little too hopeful.... if anyone out there is keen for a 720 diff I have one sittin in my backyard, if no one is keen it's goin to the wreckers, seems like a bit of a waste but.. I will be posting a few bits and pieces up soon from the 720 so if anyone is interested feel free to get in contact with me to work somethin out... surely someone can use something from tnis ute

hey everyone..This might be a way out there question but was wondering if a diff out of a datsun 720 diff would fit a 1200 ute?? The inside measurements seem to add up no probs so was hopin I could save the 720 diff for my 1200 engine upgrade... if anyone could help with any info it'd be great........Cheers...

Just bought it... probably shouldn't of considering I'm in the middle of getting my 1200 ute on the road but really couldn't pass this up.. I guess now I've got a new project to start when the 12 is finished...

Hi all...
Just wondering if anyone out there could tell me how much I would expect to pay for a second hand, or even new, set of extractors for a standard a12 in a 1200 ute.
There is a set on e-bay that is at 170 for now but going up everyday. So with still 3 or so days left I'm guessing they're gonna go up even more.
Also, could I fit these and still run the stock exhaust for now??, Any info anyone could provide would be great.
