No, I was just using NZ as an example, as my on screen info might suggest I am in AU ;)
I have also checked the CAMS website and they dont have any of the rally regs online, instead suggesting to refer to the individual clubs who also dont have them on their sites...

Just wondering if anyone knows the regulations as to what sort of engines you can run in amateur rally divisions. I saw a mk1 escort in NZ with a 13B bridgeport on some video, but I recall someone saying here that you have to run an engine that was released originally with the car? so things like ke25 corollas would have an unfair advantage with a 16ltr twin cam 2tg to a 1200cc pushrod in a similiar weight chassis? can anyone enlighten me?

maybe you have an air leak somewhere in the fuel lines? I had the same problem and thought of replacing my fuel pump until I found that a couple of clamps I was using where a size too big for the hose.

as much as I would have loved to have kept it, sadly my 1000 2 door has to go.
The body is pretty damn good for its age rustwise although there is a scrape dent down the drivers side. iit is missing a front fender and it now has the crappy doors off my wagon on it, but I have another set which are a bit better. it also has a brand new battery box in the boot and a high capacity cable which cost the asking price alone. the interior is almost mint. some spares included. asking $150. Perth.
