what the Honda NSX engine you mean??
you could put it on the back seat of your 1600 and use the original 6 speed transaxle!
run brembo brakes all round and have it sitting on ultra light spoon sports 6lb wheels..

ah the luxury of dreaming..

I would prefer to go for the smaller discs anyway, as have decided the 13x6 superlites are the best look for my car. I bet your wagon now pulls up on a 10c piece phunkdocta! (p.s. what you got under the hood?)

speaking of honda, why not just go the whole hog and put an NSX V6 in one? being an older car they would cost alot less. your only worry would be finding a gearbox to sling off the back of the engine.

what about the suzuki swift GTI 1.3l twicam?
it loves a rev and puts out good power for its size.
it would be a fairly easy conversion I guess. and I'm pretty sure there is a north / south suzuki gearbox that fits it.

I don't know if you've seen this article but it was written by dattoman, a listmember here.

http://datnet.org/new/techinfo/1000brakeupgrade.shtml

so you have a 1000 yourself phunkdocta? I am going to do the said conversion on my 1000 just as soon as its over the pits. you can check out my messy website on my www thing on this post.

that duration is measured at 0 degrees lift I'm guessing, I was about to say that was NOT a road cam. I guess the extra lift is from the oversized lifters too? I always take my cam duration from 0.050 degrees lift, as alot of people seem to do the same. would that cam be not so wild to say, lend the car to your mum or girlfriend to drive up the shops?

I was under the impression you could buy new ringgear anyway?
something along the lines of splitting the old one with a chisel and shrinking the new one into place with a blowtorch. ?

no problem.
you can buy one, ditch the supercharger, fabricate a turbo manifold and run 15 psi of boost with the standard computer.
but I don't have enough room in my engine bay for an intercooler so it is not an option I am looking at.

wow, I was thinking about doing the exact same thing!
apart from the prohibitive cost, how cool would it be to have a 1200 singing to 9 grand!? (or a 1000 in my case)
I think though that the 20valve toyota 4ag would be an easier option, itself it has a form of vtech.
I am actually pretty sure I want to get the 100kw 16 valve version and put the quad throttle bodies off the 20valve on it. I have been told the design of the 20v head limits tuning possibilities.
