g,day
my 1200 is very hard to start when cold , it turns over about 20+ times with the choke on before it fires, after it reaches operating temp it starts with first turn of the key it idles at 750rpm , rev,s fine timing is set at 6 degrees by timing light new plugs points and leeds i have tryed 2 carbs still the same problem float level is 1mm just below the dot on the sight glass i am thinking electrical maybe something is not operating properly until hot....HELP.

when i put parking lights on, first position on light switch headlights come on it should only be the parkers . if i flick the dipper switch to high beam it just leaves the parkers on. this is on a1200 coupe. has any body had this problem or know how to solve it, wiring conections are all correct according to wiring diagram in gregoreys workshop manual. i have also tried other light switches and dipper switches problem still persits. HELP ME PLEASE.
