A nice golden oak color on plywood (apec /no knot in the veener) with about 5 or 6 coats of spar varnish would do the trick or the local paint shop for clear laquer I used to do this all the time. I'm doing a 54 wagon simular to this myself.

Its sad what people do to good cars. My nieghbor have four dead cars in thier yard looks like hell !!!! The little datto there has promise, is that a vinyl top I see?

Ive seen it run at Woodburn before and it was frickin wicked about 8 years ago sounded SCARY high pitched scream something you dont forget!!!!

Hey Les Schwab or Big O tires will have them take a wheel so they know the shank size for the lug nut and washer

most after market tachs have a 4-6-8 cylinder switch that could be the key might have to take the cover off the back side.
