Oh yeah if you have a 1980 model 1200 then you wont need to put the adapter plates in to fit an A14/15 because these already had the newer engines.

I know that "Gumption" is really good at cleaning wheels. But it sounds like yours are heaps dirty. I dunno if it will work for them if they are that dirty.
I have several friends who swear by Gumption thoug. You can get it from your cleaning isle in your local supermarket. It is in a tub and it is a white paste...

CA18 are also pretty cheap too...
When comparing it to an FJ or an SR.

I personally think that if you are going to do a full restore and everything that you should go a 1200 because they look alot nicer and it will be worth more when you are finished.

How much are you looking to spend on the car in the first place? Should be able to find a fairly decent 1200 for under a grand.

Oh yeah and bodywise the 1200's and 120Y's are very different.
(Although you can use the arm rests out of a 120Y in a 1200 coupe!)
I am not sure about this but don't the 120Y's not handle as well as 1200's? Heaps more body roll or something?
But I suppose you could always fix that.

Are you going to use the car to learn to drive?

I use a readiator out of a holden Gemini in mine. Make sure that the inlet and outlets ae on the same sides of the engine.
But if they are then it should just be a matter of getting some brackets on it and bolting it onto some metal somewhere (That's what I did with mine).
If it has to mount fromt he side then all you should need are some L shaped brackets

When you mount it make sure it is far enough away from the fan though. Mine is probably a little too close and it hits sometimes. Try to get it closer to the front of the car than the standard 1200 one is.

Psst ok then I'll tell you but it is strictly a secret between you an dme ok?

It's an animated gif.
Jsut get a few pics and resize them down to the right pixel size and then put them in a program that will make them into an animated gif. I think I used Animation shop (or something? comes with photoshop) but I am using my parents dodgey computer right now so I couldn't tell you for sure.

I think there are other animated gif programs that you could use.

I'm not sure which avatar is up at the moment because again - dodgey paretnal computer, but if it is the one without the writting then you can also use the animation program to do"transistions like clock wipes satuation fade etc...

Never heard of a 26/28 weber.
I think a whole lot of fords came out with webers or versions of webers.
I have no real idea. also the holley G180. Which is what I have, is supposedly the same as a 32/36 weber.
Try goign into Cox wreckers and asking the dud stuff and not buying anything off them. I know it was a ford that most peopel get their webers off...
