Don't get too excited. Most of it is missing.

Just giving everyone the opportunity before it becomes razor blades.

Whats not there:

It is not repairable (rust and too much missing).
No doors, engine, gearbox, steering box.

What is there:

Tailshaft, diff, most suspension (drums). Rear windshield, bumpers front and back, bonnet, boot, boot hinges. 4 pumped up tyres on 12" rims. Most of the panels are not good IMO (but your judgement may differ).

Free if you take it all away. I'm not all that interested in selling/giving away bits and bobs off it.

The car is in Invermay, Launceston. Road access is good. Local firms do car trailers for half a day for about $30.

Email me if you're interested:

brad@blacksheepsoftware.com.au

I reckon you'd have about 10 days to pick it up before I dump it at the tip.

Cheers,
Brad

I haven't seen it so I don't know whether it was steam or smoke. The (reasonably) reliable witness said it was out of the exhaust pipe.

Shrug...

Hi,

No idea on this one. A friend's A12 engine (datsun ute) is smoky on steep hills. Nowhere else. Downhills and on the flats not a whisper of smoke. Engine operates fine under all other conditions. Oil level is correct (checked myself). No noises etc just a fair bit of smoke (mostly white reportedly) when on a hill.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Brad

I have lowered the opening price, added a buy it now, and reduced the time to run to make way for putting it in the papers this weekend if no one takes it.

Cheers,
Brad

Hi All,

Can any one that's finished a conversion post some photos of their lines from the master cylinder to the distribution blocks? I'm trying to get an idea of the best way of arranging the lines. At the moment I'm still running stock...

Cheers,
Brad

Thanks to all who commented.

I'm not adverse to getting it engineered (I'm an engineer myself, but in a different field, not mech), just wanting to know what the best course of action was. As I've seen quite a few newer utes floating about in the papers lately and was wondering what the pros and cons were. As its stands it looks like a different grille and dash is it. Any other major upgrades? Did they upgrade the steering boxes on the newer ones to having a rag joint in the middle?

Just wondering...
