I have already got some GX stuff like head and carbs, but I reckon some interior stuff and badges would be sweet. How about grills? I got one brand new when I did up my old coupe but that same company cant get them anymore. Any other suggestions? Something rare or something of the newer 1200 bakkies that would fit our ute/coupes.

In my old coupe I made a floor in the boot out of MDF. It had a rectangular peice running the width of the car behind the rear seat, I hinged a large piece of MDF off that which allowed access to the spare, worked a treat just needed carpeting.

So I assume that a CG13 is not anything like a G13 out of a Suzuki Swift GTi? Thats a 1300cc twin cam.

How about the s/c of a Toyota 4AGZE? Thats an idea but then if you think about it, a lot of 4AGZE owners swap the s/c for a turbo.

Guys, I think I may have mentioned this a while ago but, here goes.

My girlfriend is going to South Africa soon and she and her parents are happy to bring back some (small) items for me. Ofcourse I want them to get some new stuff from the local nissan dealers that we cant get. Her uncle wil search around now for me so the parts are there when they get there but what do I want is the quesion?

What is worth wile? It needs to be light (no gearboxes :( ) and kinda small. What do you guys reckon? Badges, interior bits, injection manifolds? I dunno??? Any of you South African guys got any idea or how much rand it will cost me for some stuff.

Cheers,

Simon

South Africa eh? The intake temps would be pretty high wouldnt they? Whip the air filter off and chuck in some decent quality octane boost and clean, see how she goes then, maybe a cheap fix. Thats my 2 cents anyway. Dont drive on any dirt roads without the filter tho.

Daniel & Pedro,

You remember how I couldnt post new threads? Well we just downloaded Netscape 7.1 and as you can tell I now have that post new thread button in the top right hand corner.

I cant remember what version we were using before but it was Netscape Navigator something ####. I hope that other people are not using that version becuase if they are they will be in the same boat as I was, not being able to start threads, just a thought.

Keep up the great work,

Simon

This bloke down the road from me has still got his 1200 wagon up on ramps. Poor thing is stored outside. Light blue with little hotwires on it, looks shmick from the road. He resprayed it in his driveway but it looks so neat (from a distance, havent seen it up close). Four door, something different I love it. I told the missus that I should offer him some cash, but I have no room in the shed with the rally car and the other coupe.

Its great to dream.
