I'm not from around there and I certainly don't know the regs like those of you who are but I keep hearing about engineering restraints and approvals. How could a V8 possibly get approved when a 2.5L doesn't?

I would think that you should like your Forester. I really like my wife's Outback. (Do they sell those under that name in Australia, I would think it would be incongruous to do so)

Cheers.

A Forester is not an SUV (it is but not what the rant is about) take for example the Nissan Armada (12 MPG city, 18 HWY). Now that's an SUV. I don't have one and don't really even want one, it is just about the biggest SUV on the American roads and brought to you by ... wait for it ..... NISSAN.

Search on here and the answer will be found. Use the key words Subaru piston. That will get you started with a build that was about the best way to do it less expensively. Good luck.

I'm sure that there are hundreds of reasons not to do this. If you insist at least consider using something more like this tool than a can of ether or brake fluid.

Seems a shame. The track closing that is. Very nice layout with elevation changes and lots of interesting features.

The car seems to run very well.

Anyone here have good experience with Mega Squirt ECU? I am thinking that is what I want to use to run my SR20 but many people that I have talked to clutch their chest and tip over when I mention Mega Squirt. It looks to me like it should work fine but I guess that I am looking for the opinion of someone who is using one.
